Surrender the Script

ECHO CHAMBER FAITH

It’s hard to hear God’s voice
when you’ve already decided
what you want Him to say.

Silence isn’t always absence.

Sometimes it’s mercy.

Because when we approach Him with a verdict already written,
we’re not seeking His will —
we’re seeking His endorsement.

We pray, but we’re negotiating.
We listen, but only for confirmation.
We call it faith…
but it’s control dressed in reverence.

God does speak.

But He won’t compete with the script
we’ve already authored in our own minds.

The forge moment comes when you lay the script down.

When you say:

“Not what I prefer.
Not what preserves my comfort.
Not what protects my image.
But what is true.”

That’s when the noise fades. That’s when clarity sharpens. That’s when obedience stops being theoretical
and starts becoming transformational.

Strong men don’t just ask God to bless their plans.

They surrender them.

And surrender is where the real voice gets heard.

Hebrews 4:12

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

If you already know the answer you want,
you’re not listening.
You’re lobbying.

FORGE CALL

Lay your preferred answer down before you pray.
